Rules

Here are the rules for the site:

1. On this site you can RP as either an original character, or as a character from Death Note.
2. If you do pick to have an original character you must start small. This means that you can not start off with a Death Note unless your character is a Shinigami. Also to introduce those characters you must post in the 'welcome' section.
3. If you want to be an already established character you must post in the 'Select your character' section of the site.
4. There can not be two people roleplaying as the same character, this is confusing. So before you select a character that you would like to Roleplay as, make sure the character is not already in use.
5. After selecting or creating a character, be sure to fill out your character's profile. This is viewable on your own profile.
6. This site is set in the time period of after Light gets the Death Note. Therefore no one knows who Kira is. What happens after that is up to you. The story does not have to follow what happens in the series.
7. If you want anybody to post in a roleplay you create then be sure to mark it as (Open). The same can be said for private RP's, mark them as (Private) or put the names of those who can post in that RP.
8. Even though we have a messaging system, do not use it to RP. All RP information must be posted, so that way everyone knows what is going on in the main story line.
9. I do not care how you RP, so do whatever. But please differentiate between actions and dialogue. That way other RPers will be able to understand what you are doing and saying. Also, please us OOC when speaking as your real self.
10. If you are killed in the RP you will have to restart with a completely new character.
11. If you do not enjoy RPing on this site please give us suggestions in the 'Ideas' section. DO NOT just leave and never come back, especially if you are RPing as a main character!
12. Please do not kill people randomly! Just because you have the Death Note does not mean that you can kill anybody you want. The same rules still apply as the real Death Note.

Update: You must stay true to your character by talking and acting like the real character. Also if you are going have a picture, make sure that it is YOUR character.
